dreadlord sword way better. if you want mage progression do what @DylanTheWin314 said. but if you want my opinion I made the swap from bers to mage and it was a lot better for early game. hyper cleaver + rotten armor and bonzo mask, then 2/4 rotten + zkcp + bozo mask, then 2/4 or 3/4 sa with zkcp. prioritize getting decent mp..
